The Business Challenge

As the client’s business grew, their sales team had difficulty managing the approval workflows for quotes. Since the approval process was time-consuming, the sales team created cloned quotes that resulted in errors, delays, and missed opportunities.


DemandBlue analyzed the client’s existing quote approval process and recommended Salesforce CPQ+ Advance Approvals to resolve the challenges. We designed an advanced four-step approval process, starting with the Manager, then the Service Team, Finance, and Legal Team

Additionally, DemandBlue implemented restrictions on recalling quotes when the Opportunity stage was ‘Closed won’ or ‘Closed Lost’ or when the ‘RFP Quote’ field was Yes.

This solution offered a more dynamic workflow, enabling users to recall quotes instead of cloning them.
