Experience Better Performance for Related Lists
The related list View All page now uses Lightning Web Components (LWC) instead of Aura, resulting in faster rendering and improved user experience. The complete list of related records loads earlier, enhancing productivity for users.
Undo Field Changes with a Click
In Lightning Web Components record pages, an undo button appears when you type in an input field. Clicking the undo button removes unsaved changes instantly, providing a more intuitive and efficient editing experience.
Configure Searchable Objects for Each User Profile
Improve search results relevancy by configuring searchable objects—both standard and custom—for each user profile. With the new Search Manager feature, you can choose which objects are searchable or not for each user, helping your team quickly find the information they need.
Quickly Configure Searchable Picklists
Save time by selecting picklist fields to be searchable in Search Manager. Picklists provide users with relevant results based on their selections, enhancing search capabilities and improving productivity.
Experience Improved Performance on More Record Home Pages
Over 100 additional objects now use Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create, view or edit the record home pages, bringing the total to over 1,000. This enhancement improves performance, accessibility support, and service availability across Lightning Experience and Salesforce mobile apps for record home pages.
Use the Iterable Interface with Set Type
The Set class now implements the Iterable interface, enabling direct iteration over sets. This change allows for more code reuse and simplifies the development process in both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.
Opt-in for Event Log File Generation
Event log files are now generated and delivered only to instances that opt-in to receive them. This change provides more control over event log file generation and improves security and compliance practices. In addition, this update automatically disables event log file generation for Developer and Trial editions and instances that don’t have the Event Monitoring add-on subscription by default.
Set Field-Level Security for a Field on Permission Sets Instead of Profiles
Field-level security can now be set on permission sets instead of profiles, aligning with user access control best practices. This change makes it easier to manage user permissions and provides enhanced visibility into object permissions for each permission set.
Enable Dynamic Forms on Mobile
Dynamic Forms, which offer excellent customization options on record pages, are now available on mobile devices. Enable Dynamic Forms on Mobile to provide a consistent and tailored experience for desktop and mobile users.
Enhance Your Visualizations with Images, Rich Text, and Dashboard Widgets
Improve the clarity and impact of your Lightning dashboards by adding images, rich text, and widgets. Incorporate company logos, flow diagrams, and embedded images to guide users through their data and create engaging visualizations.
Boost Productivity with Mass Quick Actions on Related Lists
Save time and streamline workflows by adding quick actions directly on related lists. Users can now create related records, perform mass updates, and interact with the corresponding list without leaving the page. This increases efficiency and productivity.
Search and Display Data Table Results in Screen Flows
Screen flows now support searching and filtering data table record results. Users can easily find the necessary information as the additional records load progressively as they scroll through the results.
Bring External Data into Flow Builder Without Code
Automate processes with external data by creating HTTP callout actions within Flow Builder without writing code. This enhancement allows seamless integration with web-based service APIs and expands automation capabilities.
Send Salesforce Data to an External Server Without Code via HTTP Callout
Extend the capabilities of HTTP Callout actions in Flow Builder by using the POST method to send Salesforce data to an external server. This enhancement enables bidirectional data exchange and unlocks new.
Use Email Templates in the Send Email Action
You can reuse email content using Lightning and Classic email templates in the Send Email action. This enhancement allows you to populate merge fields in the email template using the recipient record or a related record. Previously, email templates couldn’t be used in the Send Email action.
See Improved Color Contrast in UI Elements.
Enhance visibility for users with low vision by improving color contrast in UI elements, including buttons, checkboxes, and links. This change aligns with accessibility standards and guidelines such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The color-contrast updates are applied to Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Lightning base components, and specific record home pages in Lightning Experience.
See Tenant IDs in the Your Account App
Now you can see the ID of your Salesforce org, Tableau deployment, MuleSoft org, Commerce Cloud tenant, and your Marketing Cloud MID (Member ID) in the contracts area of the Your Account app. When you purchase a product, it is assigned and provisioned to a specific tenant. Seeing tenant IDs in the list of your contracts helps you monitor license usage by the tenant.
